Abstract
The report briefly covers classification of the information systems interacting with databases. For a definite class of information system, the requirements to analysts techniques are formulated. The weaknesses of existing object-oriented methodologies are demonstrated according to these requirements. The elaborated process analysis method is able to overcome the inadequacy of object-oriented analysis techniques. Blocks, which were obtained as a result of the application of the process analysis method are further decomposed by means of the role object diagram method, which was designed exactly to meet the requirements of complex distributed organizational systems.
