Abstract
In this paper, we present the initial deployment of Kalahok 1.0 - a customizable, multilingual, and deliberative web-based participatory toolkit towards informed and data-driven intervention initiatives for disaster-stricken communities in Marawi City, Philippines. A total of 1,168 participants from 9 local communities responded to the survey. Thematic analysis using Biterm Topic Modeling revealed that the needs of the communities can be classified into relief goods, potable water, housing, and employment. The timely feedback to the community partner allowed them to formulate interventions related to the immediate needs, and to plan in addressing the long-term targets.
