Abstract
In this paper, an antenna system with a compact multi-input multi-output structure is proposed for hand-held 5G mobile devices. This antenna system fully meets the technical criteria set out for a terminal device such as: wide operating band, good isolation coefficient, compact configuration, easy to fine-tune,… Those requirements are proven in the article with simulation tools and actual measurements, thereby helping to most accurately assess the feasibility of implementation. Part one is the antenna structure simulated in the HFSS simulation software, thereby helping to evaluate the results from those configurations. Part two a built and measured antenna prototype supports consistency in simulation and actual fabrication.
