The Effects of Users’ Psychological Diversity on Avatars’ Behaviour in the Virtual World

Abstract
Virtual world has been used in education and psychological studies more and more frequent for its wide applicability to them. The value of user data cannot be overlooked. In view of this, research is conducted on the users’ personality, their preferences for islands’ style, and how active the users are in the virtual world. In this paper, experiment collects 44 participants’ valid user data in virtual world and analyzes their personalities by using Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. It is found that the activity level, and particular preferences for the island’s style are related to users’ personality.
