Abstract
Additive manufacturing processes, encompassing both two-dimensional and three-dimensional techniques, present unparalleled levels of flexibility for creating cutting-edge radio frequency identification and sensing systems. The analysis of electromagnetic characteristics in bulk or engineered materials holds a vital significance in the creation of novel devices and the enhancement of existing ones. The potential applications range from integrating tags into objects and wearable sensors to utilizing metasurfaces for improved probing of signals inside the human body and incorporating sensors into robotic hands to achieve precise object grasping.
