Abstract
The electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problem in high-speed integrated circuits has attracted much attention. Shielding materials have made great contributions to solving EMC problems. Shielding effectiveness is usually used to evaluate the shielding performance of shielding materials. In this paper, a special PCB testing fixture is designed, and a testing method of electric field shielding effectiveness based on near field scanning is proposed and utilized to measure the electric field shielding effectiveness (SE) of composite materials. Meanwhile, GTEM cell test method is also used to measure the SE of the composite materials. Finally, the permeability and conductivity of the composite materials are derived.
