Abstract
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is a widely used technique in biomedical and chemical analysis. A prototype of comparative frequency response analysis (FRA) system for measuring EIS is proposed in this work. Compared to traditional FRA-based systems, neither quadrature sinusoidal signals nor two identical sensing paths are needed. The experimental results based on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for detection of melatonin solutions are shown to validate the proposed EIS measurement system.
