Abstract
A 5ps resolution, 5-bit true time delay chip based on switched constant R network is presented in this paper. The basic concept and design procedure of wideband GaAs PHEMT monolithic true time delay is described. A GaAs MMIC Ture time delay-line with compact size and excellent performances is design, tap out and measured. The measurement results show true time delay is varied from 5 ps to 155 ps with < 8 dB insertion loss in entire operating frequency range from 2 to 4 GHz.
