Abstract
Because spoof surface plasmons cannot flexibly transmit on the ultrathin metallic spiral structures, this paper proposes ultrathin metallic spiral structures composed of double spiral arms, and analyses the transmission characteristics. Through simulation calculations, it is found that the resonant frequency of a single ultrathin metallic spiral structure is consistent with the resonant frequency of the dimer structures. In addition, when the rotation angle between the dimer structures is changed, the resonance frequency is basically unchanged. In order to study the influence factors of the magnetic resonance characteristics, the single structure and the dimer structures are scanned separately. The results show that spoof localized surface plasmons can be transmitted on the bend path, and the change of the relative permittivity of the dielectric substrate will not affect its resonant frequency. The increase of the width and the number of spiral turns will cause the resonant frequency of the single structure and the dimer structure to redshift respectively.
