Abstract
This article presents two original, efficient, and rigorous methodologies for coupling ferrite circulators of complex shapes. Indeed, by using a central conductor of any shape or geometry, an optimized circulation phenomenon can be achieved because of both methods. This article details and analyzes the two methods developed. They will be validated by the measurement of a stripline circulator with a triangular central conductor operating around 8 GHz. At the end of this first study, one of the two methods will be selected and implemented in a more complex case since we will adapt it to a dual-band operation.
