Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to study and to evaluate the low and high frequency perturbations, also called harmonics distortions and electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power leads from commercial inverter-fed motor drives. This device is controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM) and switched with insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT). The experimental investigation was running to meet EMC product standard-IEC 1800-3 for adjustable speed electrical power drive systems. During the measurements, different situations on operational conditions (load) and cable length between inverter and motor are applied and showed.
