Abstract
Electron drift in liquid neon may proceed in the delocalized state and in the localized state (electron bubbles). The stability of electron bubbles in liquid neon is examined on the basis of a theoretical model. Results are presented on the energy of the quasifree electron state as a function of temperature on the saturation line; equilibrium bubble radius as a function of temperature on the saturation line; change of the free energy due to electron localization as a function of bubble radius on the saturation line; and change of the free energy for the equilibrium bubble state as a function of temperature on the saturation line.ETX
