Abstract
In this work, an anisotropic FDTD method is introduced to simulate electromagnetic concealment with metamate-rials using transformation optics. The theory of the algorithm is derived to support our freely available FDTD code, in MATLAB environment. The algorithm provides the possibility to simulate the transient behavior of the electromagnetic cloaking device. The calculation of the anisotropic material properties of the electromagnetic cloak is reviewed.
