Abstract
During the life cycle of serial production of mechanical engineering, there are changes in the form of the production object or operation processes that can be described by the appropriate models. The combination of these models, located in a chronological sequence from the launching the product into production to its disposal, can be represented as a general model of the mechanical engineering product. The concept of single information space for life cycle management of mechanical engineering products is proposed, which will ensure the constant exchange of technical information among specialists, create new opportunities and increase the profitability of the project.
