Abstract
Attitude control for small satellites is recently given particular concern. This paper has designed Proportional Derivative and Linear Quadratic Regulator controllers. A comparative synthesis of the proposed controllers’ performance has been conducted in the presence of disturbing torques. This work discusses the effect of adding model uncertainty to the proposed controllers. Simulation results have been investigated. The presented controllers are proved to be robust.
