Abstract
This research proposes a decision-making support tool to select the optimal sustainable component and supplier. The proposed approach contains a fuzzy technique for order of preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) established on environmental sustainability. Utilized in weighting each possible component supplier. A dual-objective binary optimization technique is developed in order to obtain the optimal solution. A case study will be conducted for data center components and supplier selection to evaluate the proposed approach’s effectiveness, especially when considering the large energy consumption of data centers.
