Abstract
Deployment of multiple transmitters (Tx) in microwave power transfer (MPT) is an effective way to extend the available power transfer coverage. In this paper, we designed an MPT system consisting of two Tx based on a phased array antenna. The beam scanning scheme obtains direction for beam steering and which Tx is suitable for MPT. Also output power of the transmitters is controlled through the feedback of the rectified voltage value to supply the receiver with required power. The simulation and experiment results show the RF power and efficiency that can be received in the extended coverage according to the MPT operation by the beam scanning result in the proposed system.
