Abstract
The EHR is a patient's medical history in digital form. Electronic health records allow for record collection, creation, and storage. Electronic health records are sluggish to implement by healthcare practitioners. Our national government recently passed legislation requiring the use of an Electronic Record System. The electronic health record (EHR) will improve clinical recording, healthcare utilisation tracking, quality control, and invoicing. It will also simplify healthcare record management and mobility. Administrative activities, lab systems, computerised physician order entry, radiography systems, clinical documentation, and pharmacy systems are basic parts of electronic health records. Customers save money, increase quality and safety, and improve healthcare efficiency using electronic health records. EHR challenges include pricey software, system security, patient confidentiality, and unknown government regulations. EHR management will benefit from bar coding, speech recognition, and RFID.
