Abstract
Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a noninvasive recording technique used to measure the electrical activity of the brain. It has traditionally been used to diagnose neurological disorders and epilepsy. However, recently there has been great interest in using this technique in conjunction with machine learning to predict suicidal behavior. Since suicide is a global problem, this tool can be effective in early detection of suicidal behavior and help specialists make more informed decisions.
