Abstract
Analyzing HSE data is becoming essential to reduce injuries and fatalities in Oil and Gas industry. Huge amount of resources is being spent annually on researching and developing procedures to eliminate the catastrophic situations in HSE. To achieve an effective HSE management, there is a need to have smart decision-making technique or a platform that is based on agile and automated data collection. This research proposed an intelligent tracking of every personnel across the various work zones to improves the current practices of the HSE management systems. That improvement comes as the result of detecting workplace hazards at early stages which would provide the workplace with a safer environment. The developed platform bases its decisions on a public industry database of occupational injuries and illnesses. Those decisions are based on a set of parameters stored in those records. Our new mechanism improves the quality and quantity of data inserted into HSE management structures, thus avoiding occupational risks and leading to a harmless workstation.
