Abstract
This paper presents a Simulink model of a solar panel. The model is utilized to analyze the effects of changing external parameters on the panel's operation. Radiation and temperature are the parameters analyzed. It was observed that variations in input climate parameters influence the external parameters and characteristics of the photovoltaic panel. The results demonstrate that increasing temperature reduces the open-circuit voltage of the photovoltaic panel. In contrast, elevating solar irradiance results in a higher short circuit current.
