Problem. Educational work is an integral part of the activities of teachers of higher education, aimed at inculcating a culture of work and professional activities; uniting the scientific work of students and educational activities; formation of ecological culture, healthy lifestyle and habits of safe living. Goal is the exchange of experience in improving the effectiveness of educational work, conducted inseparably from the process of teaching and scientific work of students. Methodology of education of patriotism and raising the professional level of students in educational classes of all kinds by familiarizing students with interesting facts from the life of outstanding Ukrainian scientists, bringing examples of achievements of Ukrainian science, the history of discoveries or inventions. Results. The experience of perfection of methods of patriotism education and increase of students professional level at training sessions, inculcation of culture of labor and professional activity, formation of ecological culture, healthy way of life and habits of safe vital activity are resulted. It is shown that the increase in the effectiveness of educational work is possible when it is carried out inseparably from the process of teaching and scientific work of students. Bringing examples from the activities of outstanding domestic scientists, the development of Ukrainian engineers and the achievements of industries extends the scientific and theoretical base of students, increases the professional level of knowledge, educates patriotism and shapes ecological culture and life safety skills. During the training and production practice of students, they should be acquainted with modern domestic achievements in science and technology, advanced manufacturing enterprises, modern technologies. Originality. Increasing the effectiveness of educational work is possible when it is carried out inseparably from the process of teaching and scientific work of students. It is shown that concrete examples from the activities of outstanding Ukrainian scientists, developments of Ukrainian engineers and achievements of industries expand the scientific and theoretical base of students, increase the professional level of knowledge, educate patriotism and form an ecological culture and life safety skills. Practical value. Educational work at the training sessions at the universities ensures the deepening of the world outlook of students, increasing the professional training of future specialists, inculcating the culture of labor and professional activity, the formation of healthy lifestyles.
