Abstract Background The rationing of nursing care is a complex process that affects the quality of medical services. Purpose An assessment of the impact of nursing care rationing on burnout and life satisfaction in cardiology departments. Methods The study included 217 nurses working in the cardiology department. The Perceived Implicit Rationing of Nursing Care, the Maslach Burnout Inventory, and the Satisfaction with Life Scale were used.
