Abstract
机械制造基础作为一门专业基础课，具有专业性强，内容繁多、难于理解等特点。文中结合少数民族大学生、教师、地域等具体情况，从教学方式方法入手进行改进和探索，提出相应的解决方案。实践证明，这些改进措施能够激发学生对工科学习的积极性和主动性，培养了学生积极思考和创新的能力，提高了民族学生的综合素质和精品课程的教学效果，促进了高校教育事业的全面协调发展。
"Fundamentals of mechanical manufacturing"is a speciallized basic course which has characeristics of strong profess-sional, wide range, big difficulties to understand and so on. This text combines the specific situation of minority university stu-dents, teachers and region, and carries out improvment and exploration starts with teaching method and raises relative solution. Practice proves that, these improvment messures can inspire the enthusiasm and initiativeome of engineering study for students, these messures also cultivate the students' ability of thinking and innovation, improve the comprehensive quality of minority students and teaching effect of excellent course, promote the comprehensive and coordinated development of education career in universities and colleages.
