Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of instructors' guidance in leadership skills, students' self-awareness and education environment on the satisfaction of their own learning abilities of those elementary school students participating in physical associations. The subjects in this study mainly included elementary school students who participated in physical associations in Changhua County. The data were collected through questionnaires. A total of 620 questionnaires were sent, and 609 copies were retrieved. The questionnaire requested the subjects to answer the following questions: personal information, leadership skills, self-awareness, education environment and the scale of satisfaction with learning. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation analysis with SPSS 12.0. The results of this study indicated that partial distinguished difference caused by personal background difference would reveal in the following four variables: instructors' guidance in leadership skills, students' self-awareness, education environment and satisfaction with learning. Besides, there was a distinguished correlation among instructors' guidance in leadership skills, students' self-awareness, education environment and satisfaction with learning. Furthermore, the study shows a significant correlation between education environment and satisfaction with learning. The researcher provided implications for teachers, elementary school students, educational authorities, policy makers and future researchers.
