Abstract
San Sui Pin Yao Zhuan (also known as The Three Sui Quash the Demons' Revolt, hereinafter referred as Pin Yao Zhuan) was derived from the historical facts of Bei Zhou Uprising and rebellion by Wang Ze in the 7th year of Qing Li in the Northern Song Dynasty (1047), after published in the first year of Tai Chang (1621), it became very well-known, therefore spread to Japan, South Korea and other places, inspiring the creativity of local writers. This article hopes to discuss the commonalities of the images of Bao Long Tu represented by Ping Yao officials in the 20-chapters and 40-chapters of Pin Yao Zhuan: deliberately abandoning the depiction of the image of divinity, emphasizing the integrity of recent historical biography, outstanding political achievements and advocating the characteristics of 'removing demons', showing the differences between humanity and demons, promoting the value of people, and showing Feng Meng Long's 40- chapters book to 20-chapters book(the author of the book has yet to debate) quoted 'The demons are not made by themselves, all are inherited by people.' In addition, through the 40-chapters book of the newly added Bao Long Tu appearances: the admiration of the people, the interaction with Ren Zong and Wen Yan Bo, and the comparison of traitorous officials and local corrupt officials in the dynasty such as Xia Song who were good at recruiting bribers, which were shown in the extra of 40 -chapters. Spiking some interests of worthy officials, knowledgeable people, good responsibilities, loyalty and traitors comparisons, and the false kings true monarchs.
