Bibliometric and Visual Analysis of Methane Production from Straw

Abstract
This paper uses bibliometric methods to investigate the research, the application, and the future development of methane production from straw. Combined with the keyword search statistical method, CNKI and Baiteng Patent Network were used to search all papers and literatures from 1991 to 2020 for analysis. The analysis shows that China's literature has a rapid growth trend after 2005, reaching a peak of 66 in 2011, and the southern region has fewer documents and patents, and the northern region (Tianjin, Northeast) occupies a significant advantage in the number of literature. In the existing literature, the research work mainly focuses on biogas production, gas production, anaerobic fermentation, and pretreatment. The corn straw is the straw species with the most retrieved results. Research literature focusing on theory accounts for a relatively high proportion.
