Abstract
Background: Prostate cancer is the third most common cause of cancer-related death in men in the United States. The frequent metastatic sites include bone, liver, and lymph nodes. However, rare presentation may also occur clinically. Methods: A literature review and case report. Results: We reported a case of a 69-year-old male showing the initial symptoms such as headache and blurred vision from a metastatic prostate carcinoma in the sphenoid sinus. Conclusions: Paranasal sinus metastasis from prostate cancer is seldom seen clinically. There are few reports documented in the literature. It is necessary to perform sinus surgery for tissue proof to confirm this distant metastasis. Generally, the prognosis remains poor in this presentation.
