Abstract
The vertical sections of the pseudobinary (Fe_(14)B)-Nd and (Fe_4B)-Nd systems and the liquidus isotherms in the Nd_2Fe_(14)B(T_1) primary phase field have been established and the Fe-Nd-B ternary system near the Nd-rich region has been modified. The solubility range of Nd in the T_1 phase at 750℃, 1090℃ and 1135℃ has been found to be 0.1, 0.3 and 0.3 at.% Nd, respectively, by careful EDS analyses. Using the extrapolation function method, the solubility range at high temperatures was verified.
