Abstract
'Tainan No.1' and 'Tainan No.2' are new varieties of 'Spathoglottis', which are suitable for potted used. The main characteristics of 'Spathoglottis' varieties 'Tainan No.1' were as follow: Evergreen with ovate pseudobulb. Leaf is lanceolate, medium length and medium width. Inflorescence is short length, compact with many flowers. Flower is about 4 cm width in front view, fragrance absent. The main characteristics of Spathoglottis varieties 'Tainan No.2' were as follow: Evergreen with ball pseudobulb. Leaf is lanceolate, medium length and medium width. Inflorescence is medium length, compact, number of flowers medium. Flower is about 4.7 cm width in front view, fragrance absent.
