Abstract
For twelve years, Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT) has launched the Disease Specific Care Certification (DSC) to stimulate healthcare organizations from paying more attention towards integrated care. Currently two hundred and fifty teams have participated, through certification; we do see the changes brought about by certification and the current state of medical care. When facing the current evaluation issues from all stages of life, the self-response evaluation has been transformed into a guided evaluation. Hence the next resolution includes focusing on patients' medical experience, information technology applications, and reflects emerging infectious diseases. DSC team will take the lead in internalizing personal norm regarding quality improvement, innovative multi-feature services, and become a forward-thinking paradigm in disease care.
