With the emerging and rising application of nanotechnology, it is making waves in the field of cosmetics. Many nanotechnologies have been applied in sun protection, whitening and wrinkle resistance. In view of the advantages of nanotechnology in the aspect of trans-dermal, skin retention, enhanced efficacy and reduced skin irritation, it still has a huge development space in cosmetics. Here, the research and application of nanotechnology were reviewed in recently years from the point of the dosage form and preparation such as Nano-powder, Lipid colloidal dispersion system, Nano-emulsions and Nanoparticles.
