Danggui Liuhuang Decoction is a common prescription used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat night sweats. It was created by Li Dongyuan. According to modern pharmacological analysis, the whole prescription has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-hepatic fibrosis, metabolism and immune regulation effects. After sorting out modern Chinese medicine literature, it is concluded that the clinical application of Danggui Liuhuang Decoction expands from the treatment of night sweats from the original classics, and sorts out all diseases that are caused by Yin deficiency and heat syndrome, such as heart disease or ulcerative colitis, etc., have good efficacy.
