Abstract
In this study, we investigated the triboelectric effects between nylon fabrics and PTFE membrane during repeated friction at various speeds. The results revealed that electrostatic voltage increased with friction speeds through increasing the charge transfer effects. The surface roughness and the check structure increased the positive charge of nylon fabrics due to charge transfer. Meltblown nylon fabrics led PTFE membrane possessed negative charge due to the finer fibers and more friction points. The triboelectric charge can light up LED through the bridge rectifier circuit.
