Abstract
The article offers information on ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer ranks second in the leading cause of death in the U.S. and is the fifth leading cause of deaths among women. About nine out of 10 ovarian cancers begin in the epithelium cells of the ovary which are called epithelial ovarian carcinomas. The risk factors, symptoms, diagnostic procedure and treatment of ovarian cancer are also presented.
