Abstract
The article focuses on using active tuned mass damper (ATMD) device aimed at providing stability to space telescopes. Topics discussed include controlled strategy of ATMD helpful in solving problem of the space telescope related to the low-frequency resonance caused by vibration isolators, ATMD consisting of proportional control and positive position feedback PPF, improved performance and image stability of the space telescopes with ATMD.
