Abstract
The article presents a case study of an 80-year-old woman with onset of visual hallucinations and combative behavior. It says that the patient has been forgetful and had intermittent difficulty recognizing her family. In addition, the patient, before her admission, was unable to sleep and had become increasingly disturbed. She was diagnosed with visual anosognosia, also known as Anton syndrome, a rare complication of cortical blindness.
