Abstract
The article discusses the public preferred ranges of luminance limits for large-screen displays. Topics covered include the advancements in digital display technologies as in televisions or smartphones, the absolute luminance of large theater screens as compared with computer screens and the diffuse white study. Also mentioned were the high dynamic range (HDR), black diffuse study and small-screen test display.
