Abstract
The article discusses a metastudy conducted by the industrial psychology department of the Universität Freiburg university in Freiburg, Germany on the mental health risks associated with receiving work-related communications after the conclusion of the work day. The article emphasizes the role played by technology including cellular telephones and e-mail in the increased connectivity of employees and managers.
