Abstract
In the article, the author discusses the history and future of artificial intelligence (AI). Other topics include how technology caused disruptions to the labor market, the forecast by Hyman Minsky in 1961 about the domination of intelligent problem-solving machines, the large investments poured in AI technology as of 2021, and the developments of the so called good old fashion AI (GOFAI).
