Abstract
Information for visitors to the Copper Canyon in Mexico from a chapter of the book "Frommer's Mexico 2011" is presented. Mexicans refer to the region as the Sierra Tarahumara, a section of the Sierra Madre of northwestern Mexico. Crossing the section is the Chihuahua al Pacífico railway or Chihuahua to the Pacific which is considered as an engineering marvel with 39 bridges and 86 tunnels. Ideally, the region can be visited from mid-October to mid-November and March through April.
