Abstract
The article reports on the costume designs of Stella McCartney which was included in the film "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow." The creations of McCartney are inspired by the 1940s period with a 21st century edge to complement the retro-futuristic atmosphere of the movie that features motion picture actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and actors Jude Law, Giovanni Ribisi and Casey Affleck. McCartney's contribution to the film made the film's producer Sadie Frost to declare that it would be good to rethink period clothes through modern designers.
