Abstract
In this work, the thermal conductivities of l-menthol–decanoic acid (Men–DecA) deep eutectic solvents were measured with different mole compositions using a transient hot-wire method. The measured temperature range was 283.15–363.15 K, and the pressure was up to 15.1 MPa. The relative expanded uncertainty of the obtained data was estimated to be ±2% with a confidence level of 0.95 (k= 2). The linear thermal conductivity model was used to correlate the experimental data as a function of the mole fraction of decanoic acid, temperature, and pressure. The average absolute relative deviation and the maximum absolute relative deviation between the experimental values and the calculated results from the model were 0.27 and 1.26%, respectively.
