Abstract
An investigation of the type specimen of Glossadelphus borneensis(and its basionym Ectropothecium borneense) and those of its purported synonyms, G. attenuatusand G. nitidus, revealed that these names apply to three distinct taxa belonging to two different genera. The following changes are proposed: Vesicularia borneensisis reinstated for G. borneensis, G. attenuatusis synonymized to Ectropothecium cyperoidesand G. nitidus(lectotypified herein) is synonymized to E. obtusulum.
