Abstract
Christine Henderson's editorial in the January edition of the BJM (vol 12(1): 4) referred to the fact that ‘the power of the media cannot be overestimated’. With that fact in mind I would imagine a considerable number of midwives switched on to watch ‘Tonight with Trevor McDonald’ on the 16th February wondering what it might contribute to all of our efforts to deliver high quality maternity services.
