Abstract
ABSTRACTWe report the first case of Enterococcus gallinarumendocarditis developing on normal native heart valves. Using phenotypic and molecular methods, a precise identification of this naturally vancomycin-resistant species allowed an optimal antibiotic therapy and the patient's recovery.
