Abstract
The article focuses on post hoc analysis of two clinical trials to investigate how adjunctive aripiprazole therapy and placebo treatment affect suicidality in patients with major depressive disorder. Adjunctive aripiprazole therapy was found to be associated with a decreased suicidality rate in depressed patients with a history of an inadequate response to antidepressant medication.
