Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the environmental factors that affect growth of the creeping fern Polypodium virginianum at its natural site in Blue Hill, Maine. The field study is investigated through an annual monitoring and climate analysis and analysis of growth data. It concludes that the leaf length did not increase from 2002 to 2006 in boulder population while it is shown in the linear regression that there is no relationship between the time of ledge population and leaf length.
