Abstract
The article focuses on the challenges faced by allergist-immunologists in managing allergic diseases in children, including increased hospitalizations, intensive care needs, and multisystem inflammatory syndrome occurrences. Topics discussed include the impact of respiratory viral illnesses, such as RSV and COVID-19, on children's health, the prognostic role of IgE levels in chronic urticaria, and the relationship between atopic dermatitis and asthma development.
