Abstract
The article discusses the study that investigates the characteristics of lactation curves and effect of lactation stage, parity and season on milk yield and level of its constituents in 100 buffaloes that vary from parities one to seven at an institute farm. The study showed average lactation length for experimented animals to be 323 days. It also revealed significant effect of lactation stage on milk yield, milk fat and lactose content, as well as no significant variance in milk protein.
